Welcome Reception

The Welcome reception will take place on Saturday, August 20th from 20:00 to 22:00 hours.

Conference Tour

Tuesday, August 23rd at 14:00: Excursion to Postojna Caves-a misterious underground world.
The Postojna caves are a two million years old and 27 km long system of Karst subterranean caves and are one of the most famous and easily accessible networks of underground caves in the world. The cave has been open for the public since the year 1818. An electrically powered train ride followed by a guided walk takes you through passages with stalactites, stalagmites, pillars and translucent curtains that create unforgettable impressions, an "exhibition" of Nature's sculpture", as described by Henry Moore (1955). The underground waters are home to the world's unique and endangered species, the amphibian Proteus Anguinus, or "human fish", as it is popularly called here.

Conference Banquet

The Conference Banquet will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, in the evening.

Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony will take place on Thursday August 25th at 13:00 hours at the Grand Hotel Bernardin conference centre.
