 The
29th International Conference on Solution Chemistry will be
held at the
Grand Hotel Bernardin conference centre, Portorož,
Slovenia, from August 21-25, 2005. The Grand Hotel Bernardin is
a part of the Bernardin Resort and Conference Centre located
on the Slovenian Adriatic coast between the medieval town of
Piran and the modern tourist destination Portorož.
With its rich landscape, Mediterranean vegetation and favourable
climate the resort provides a stimulating working atmosphere
as well as plenty of opportunities for recreation and relaxation.
The end of August on the Slovenian coast is warm with air temperatures
between 18°C and 29°C, and the temperature of the sea is around
24°C. The conference site and most of the hotels are air-conditioned.
