Invitation

I would like to invite you to attend the 29th International Conference on Solution Chemistry to be held at the Bernardin Hotel resort in Portorož, Slovenia, from August 21st to August 25th 2005. The ICSC conferences are sponsored by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and are recognised for their high quality.

The conference theme is the chemistry of solutions; however, a wider perspective is being taken, with areas such as Supramolecular assemblies and nanostructures, Interfaces, Aquatic Chemistry, and others. In summary, the motto of the conference should be “Solutions for science and technology”!

Efforts are being made to attract as many young scientists as possible from all over the world. For this reason the conference fee for their participation will be substantially reduced.

To make the meeting a memorable one from scientific standpoint we have invited a number of recognized scientists from all over the world to serve as speakers. In addition, we have prepared a rich social programme for participants and accompanying persons, who are also very welcome. This, together with favourable mediterranean climate of Portorož, should create a pleasant and stimulating working atmosphere connecting the participants into one large family.
